Hunting and fishing:

Many trophy whitetail and mule deer have been harvested in the area. There are numerous walleye tournaments on the lake every summer and the upland and migratory bird hunting in the fall is second to none.

Recreation:

Lake Diefenbaker is one of the largest, cleanest and warmest lakes in the province boasting over 200 miles of shoreline. It is a sailor and watersport enthusiasts dream come true.

The ranch is situated halfway between either end of the lake. There are 4 marinas on the lake where fuel and supplies can be purchased. One of the marinas is located near Riverhurst, just minutes from the ranch. Also one of the four challenging golf courses along the lake is situated near Riverhurst. All four courses can be reached by boat.
